2015 mazda 3 jack stand points. Ok so forgive me if this is somewhere on the forum already but i looked for a while and couldnt find anything on it. Using a 2 ton jack and jack stands. Test the jack stands with your hand to make sure they are secure.

Seemed fine but i was curious to hear from some others as to viable jack points besides those shown in the owners manual. Improperly jacking a vehicle is dangerous. I am looking to paint my wheels tonight however am not quite sure how to get it up on jack stands.

I have successfully used the floor jack by placing the floor jack just inboard of the front jack points to avoid the seam or lip. They are identified by notches that look like raised bumps on the metal. The cx 9 owner manual defines the 4 side jacking points for the mazda jack.

Jacking points are not on frame and havent been for a long time in passenger cars. If it is not adjust the floor jack as necessary to place the jack stands safely underneath the jack points in a manner that meets all safety specifications. Ive been using jacks on the jack points listed in the manual and all 4 points are now bent pinch welds.

Its unfortunate that the last post on this topic was so non constructive. Use only the correct front and rear jacking points and block the wheels. I know the manual says the jack points are the four spots on the pinch welds but my floor jack is flat and not grooved to fit the pinch weld.

Be warned that all info in my post is with regard to 2007 cx 9 and may be different for later years. It does not define the central. The om only shows the side jack points which im using for the jack stand points.

I know where the jack points are for the emergency factory jack but i need to know where to jack up the car using a floor jack since it would bend the lip that the factory jack fits into so the standard points will not work. However i think the actual info is useful to have online. Jack points are on the pinch welds that run the length of the unibody.
